Grant Opportunities
The Fairview Trust is committed to improving the lives of Oregonians with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) through three areas of funding. First, we support a range of housing projects that enhance housing opportunities for individuals with IDD. We prioritize projects that foster community integration, support independent living, offer affordable housing solutions, and improve overall quality of life through enhanced accessibility and the implementation of Universal Design principles.
In addition to addressing housing needs, the Fairview Trust also funds education about Universal Design - the design of inclusive spaces that they can be accessed, understood, and used to the greatest extent possible by all people regardless of their age, size, ability, or other factors. Finally, we supports advocacy efforts aimed at addressing the systemic barriers that hinder housing access. By advancing policies that promote the development of integrated and affordable housing, we strive to cultivate an environment where individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) can not only live but thrive.
